Certified sommelier, she is also an author, journalist, speaker, trainer, and consultant. Originally from Quebec, she discovered her passion for wine while working in a prestigious restaurant. Michelle quickly made her mark by receiving high-level distinctions in sommelier expertise before founding the international conference "Tasting Climate Change" in 2017 to highlight the impacts of climate on wine.

Originally from South Africa, he came in France for completing his studies. He is currently teaching at the École Supérieure des Agricultures in Angers. His research focuses on the adaptation of wine to climate change. He also heads the teaching program on environmental impact and its consequences on wine quality.

A neurobiologist specialized in sensory perception and brain plasticity, Gabriel Lepousez studies how context can influence our perception of odors. Currently a research leader at the Pasteur Institute in the Perception and Memory Laboratory, he explores the functioning of the olfactory system to understand how it perceives, analyzes, and memorizes the world of odors

Launch of the Global Chenin Blanc Observatory
Speaker : Fanny Gautier
For 21 years, Fanny has managed the economy and research department at InterLoire, the interprofessional organization for Loire wines. The economic observatory collects and analyzes data on the production, distribution, consumption, and marketing of Loire wines. InterLoire also has unique observatories in France, including the wine tourism observatory, which tracks visitor numbers at Loire wine cellars, the organic Loire wines observatory, and the yield observatory.

A blogger, he has been writing about wine since 2004 and regularly publishes on his site Vinography.com. For the past 13 years, he has been a columnist and wine critic for Jancis Robinson's website, where he has established himself on the American wine scene. His work has won numerous awards, including the Louis Roederer International Wine Writers Awards. In 2013, Alder saw his name join those of 24 other wine authors in the Wine Writers Hall of Fame at the Wine Media Guild in New York. Additionally, he is the creator and manager of the Old Vine Registry, a public, participatory database of old vine vineyards around the world.

A researcher at the Agap Institute, Patrice This leads a team focused on the diversity, adaptation, and improvement of grapevines. In collaboration with Occitanie, he works on varietal innovation for the future of viticulture and oenology in the region.

A British journalist and author, Jamie Goode has successfully shared his passion and expertise for wine through his works. He is recognized for his contributions to the wine world, both through his writings and his lectures. He writes for The Sunday Express, but has also published for the Harpers, The World Of Fine Wine, Dencanter and the Sommelier Journal. He won multiple times the Roederer International Wine Awards.

Pascal Favre d’Anne is a Michelin-starred chef based in Angers, known for his refine and creative cuisine, blending tradition and modernity. Former head of the Michelin-starred restaurant "Le Favre d'Anne," he opened the restaurant "La Cuisine du Marché" two years ago in the Angers market halls.

Gillian Handelman is currently the Director of Education and Communication for the Jackson Family Wines estate. She began her career as a sommelier assistant but quickly transitioned into wine production. She also worked as an oenologist and later developed wine education programs.
Speaker : Nathalie Spielmann
Former Director of the Wine Place Research Centre at NEOMA Business School, Nathalie SPIELMANN is now a marketing professor at the same institution. She is also a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Wine Business Research and the Journal of Consumer Marketing. In parallel, she collaborates with the city of Reims to develop a coherent and strategic marketing and tourism offering.

Christine Marsiglio MW is a Canadian Master of Wine based in London and Director of Education at Wine Folly. Awarded the Bollinger Medal and Taransaud Tonnellerie Award for excellence in tasting and wine production knowledge, she has also taught at WSET School London and contributed to the development of the WSET Diploma. Christine holds an MSc in Oenology and Viticulture from ESA in France and a BSc in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Alberta. She’s a keen triathlete, long-distance runner, cook, and hiker.
Speaker : Philippe Brissebarre
Winemaker in ndre et Loire region, Philippe Brissebarre is the president of INAO the National Institute of Origin and Quality.
